Loading Five Mobile Dock Ramps into a 40ft High Cube Container
Share
Preparing heavy industrial equipment for export requires careful planning, particularly when several large machines must be loaded into one shipping container.
At Beacon Industries, we are preparing five Mobile Dock Ramps for shipment. The combined weight of these five units is 13 tons.
For this loading operation, two 10-ton overhead cranes are used together to lift the equipment in preparation for loading into a 40ft High Cube container. Coordinating the lifting operation and positioning the equipment are important parts of the shipping preparation process.
Container loading is more than simply moving machines from the factory floor into a container. The equipment must be handled carefully, and the loading arrangement must account for the available container space, equipment dimensions, and transportation requirements.
This video offers a real look at how we prepare Mobile Dock Ramps for international delivery.
Beacon Industries manufactures Mobile Dock Ramp (11m × 2.1m, 10-Ton Capacity) and other industrial lifting and loading equipment for customers in different markets. From manufacturing to shipment preparation, we focus on the practical details involved in delivering industrial equipment overseas.
