Cutting 160×80 mm rectangular steel tube main beams for a 10-ton Mobile Dock Ramp

Main Beam Cutting for a 10-Ton Mobile Dock Ramp

The manufacturing of a heavy-duty Mobile Dock Ramp starts with proper material preparation. This video shows the cutting and preparation process for the main beams of a 10-ton Mobile Dock Ramp.

For this 10-ton Mobile Dock Ramp, we normally use 160×80 mm rectangular steel tubes for the main beam structure. Five main beams are normally used for this loading capacity.

One important requirement is that each main beam is made from one continuous piece of rectangular tube. There is no welded joint in the middle of the main beam. For this reason, the material must be long enough to produce the complete beam as one piece during the cutting process.

The cutting stage may look simple, but it is an important part of the manufacturing process. Correct material selection, accurate cutting and proper preparation provide the foundation for the following welding and assembly work.

After the main beams are cut to the required dimensions, they move to the next production stages, where the structural components are welded and assembled into the complete Mobile Dock Ramp.

For different load capacities, platform sizes and working requirements, the beam structure can be customized according to the customer's application.

Key specifications shown in this production process:

  • Equipment: 10-ton Mobile Dock Ramp

  • Main beam material: 160×80 mm rectangular steel tube

  • Main beams: 5 pieces

  • Beam construction: One continuous tube per beam

  • Middle joint: No welded joint in the middle

  • Application: Heavy-duty loading and material handling

Proper structural preparation is an important part of producing reliable hydraulic loading equipment. From cutting the raw material to welding, assembly and final testing, each production stage contributes to the finished Mobile Dock Ramp.
