2-Ton Stationary Scissor Lift: Factory Load Testing

At Beacon Industries, every stationary scissor lift undergoes operational testing before shipment. In this video, we test a 2-ton hydraulic scissor lift under its full rated load to check its raising and lowering performance.

The lift has a rated capacity of 2,000 kg, a net lifting height of 1.5 meters, and a platform size of 1.6 × 1.6 meters.

For the main structure, we use 120 × 80 mm rectangular steel tubes for the scissor arms. The platform deck is made from 4 mm checkered steel plate, providing a durable working surface for industrial applications.

During the test, we load the platform with 2 tons and operate it through both raising and lowering movements. This helps us check the equipment's operating performance under the specified load conditions before delivery.

Testing is one part of preparing a lift for delivery. For a look at the shipping stage, see how we secure a fixed scissor lift inside a shipping container.

Beacon Industries manufactures stationary scissor lifts and customized hydraulic lifting platforms. Platform dimensions, lifting heights, and load capacities can be tailored to meet different industrial requirements.
