A Wiring Mistake on a 7.5kW Inspection Lift: Why Electrical Quality Control Matters

During a recent inspection lift project, our customer identified an incorrect cable size inside the electrical control box.

The lift uses a 7.5kW three-phase AC motor. Our original specification required 4mm² cable for the relevant circuit, but the electrician mistakenly installed 2.5mm² cable.

This was our error, and we accept responsibility. The customer raised the issue during inspection, allowing us to identify the mismatch and arrange the necessary wiring correction.

This experience highlights the importance of checking electrical details before equipment is put into service. Cable size, current capacity, protective devices, terminal connections, and installation conditions must be evaluated together according to the applicable requirements.
